The last time my life was changed was when I was at the doctor or something and this girl had me listen to the song “New Slang” by the Shins on her headphones. Then all this weird stuff happened. We went to a quarry where there was this house that was like a beached boat (in a quarry! WTF!?!). I can’t remember what else but it was way messed up.
If this meeting is going to be like that, I think I’d rather not attend.

I was riding my JazzyTM cross country. It was for a charity thing.
The trip was cut short by a catastrophic fissure across the Midwest.
Sponsorships dried up. The media was redirected.
No one was around to capture my dejected expression as I reeled about slowly, waiting for someone to build a stupid bridge.
